Sofia's Furniture
Sofia Standish started making furniture in Second Life when she discovered there was a need for attractive low prim furniture. From a small shop on first land, it has grown into a marvellous showroom with a variety of quality low prim furniture plus the addition of a slightly higher prim range.
Sofia offers a wide range of furniture in medieval and modern styles, and has recently added a classical range.
Sofia's use of textures is fabulous! We've used some of her furniture for our Venice Island offices, where it looks cool and classy. Also, when visiting her store, make sure you don't miss her lovely glassware and - above all - her dramatic vases!

True North Designs
True North Designs is the flagship enterprise of Dellybean North, a Canadian who wandered in one day in May 2006, to see what this Second Life was all about. Dellybean, whose friends and customers call her Delly, was almost immediately bitten by the building bug, and began an absorption with perfecting prims that has spawned successful businesses such as Dellybeams Gem Gallery, True North Furniture and Construction, Northern Lights Company, PrimXotica, DellyciousWear and lastly a foray into the art of animating, with 101 Delmations. Many stores and varying locations finally merged into one unified shopping experience at True North Designs situated on the beautiful coastland of Goun, where Delly's Canadian flag flutters jauntily in the morning breeze above her main furniture and interior goods store.
True North provides a pleasant stroll-about shopping experience where you can inspect and obtain a wide array of finely made products ranging from fine jewelry to shoes to clothing to animations, but also you can browse through the growing furniture and interior design section where you'll find an array of attractive furnishings both formal and more casual, beach or patio seating, lovely carpeting, ornaments, fireplaces, Japanese room screens, or maybe you fancy a complete package pool or hottub or one of Delly's numerous fine water effects with fountains of various design and size, all the way up to a 20 meter towering courtyard waterfall!
Prim Perfect Note:
Delly has a wide range of various goods, especially for the home and garden - but make sure you don't miss her Tiffany glass - or her lovely crystal decanters!
Xylo
Some SL furniture is brilliant, but chocked full of prims. Other furniture is low-prim but … lacking. See why many people pick Xylo as one of the elite furniture designers in Second Life. Modern, traditional, ecclectic styles in a wide range of fabrics and colors.
Xylo: low prim, high style.
Prim Perfect Note:
Xylo's furniture looks equally in place in sophisticated Venice Island, or arranged on his own island. The lines are strong, clean and unfussy - furniture that will fit well in modern SL homes, and and in some rather more quirky homes too! In addition to furniture, Xylo offers a range of houses, which can be delivered fully furnished.
Castles by Q
Qabalah Quintus produces Castles you can live in for Second Life - from a small one room Castle Fort that fits on 512 sqm (the old first land) up to a giant 21 room, 7 level Castle for Islands, plus a range of over 12 designs that fit in between.
The textures are all life-like being taken from photographs of real Castles and custom modified in photoshop by Quintus. The effect is stunning realistic looking Castles. Inside things have been modified from the cramped, dark, dingy rooms of real castles into usable rooms with heigh ceilings and one way windows to look out. Secret Dungeon trap doors exist in all but the basic Fort and Tower and can be locked. The Dungeons sit under the Castle and are as large as 40m x 20m on the big castles.
Custom requests are welcome and all castle owners get free upgrades should a new design be produced. They also have the oppurinty to upgrade to a larger castle by trading in their current model and just paying the difference in price. All Castles are auto-rez so they install quickly with just one touch to the rezzer tablet.
The entire range can be seen at Qabalah Island and is easily found by searching Castle in the Second Life Search engine.
There are 3 distinct styles:
Medieval - Disney type Castles with pointed cone tower tops and bright interiors
Gothic - A darker style with tall tower spires and darker textures with church like windows and stain-glass
Gorean - Classic battlements and tower tops like English castles, plus a blue stone interior texture with wide framed windows.
